All WMHA U11-U18 Goalies are invited to register for our GOALIE WEEKEND. This will be an intense on ice experience featuring three guest coaches who will be led by our goalie development partner Colin Cooper. This opportunity is for House League AND Mustangs/Wild Goalies alike.
Colin Cooper is a goalie coach with over a decade of experience, currently serving as the Goaltending Coach for the MRU Men's Hockey team. He is also involved with other teams, such as the Okotoks Oilers U18 AAA, and has a history of coaching various teams in the Calgary area. Beyond his coaching roles, he is the president of Noble Sports Goalie Development and works in business development. WMHA is very excited to welcome Colin back onto our ice.
MacAulay Carefoot is an HJHL Jr. Hockey Champion and experienced goalie coach. Carefoot has served for the past few seasons as a WMHA Goalie evaluator and has the inside scoop on your player's strengths and weaknesses. He is passionate about helping WMHA goalies improve and has seen them make developmental strides over the past few seasons. MacAulay has worked as a goalie coach for programs such as Airdrie Stars, Explosive Edge, Maximum Performance Hockey and Lethbridge Minor Hockey.
Spencer Borsos is a goaltender from Calgary, Alberta, who has steadily climbed the Canadian hockey ranks through dedication and consistency. Beginning his career with the Trails West Wolves, he quickly stood out—earning the Tony Sharples Memorial Award for Top Goaltender and a First Team All-Star selection. He continued his development with the Calgary Royals U15 and U18 AAA programs before advancing to junior hockey in the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) with the Calgary Canucks. Known for describing his game as “cool, calm, collected,” Borsos developed a reputation for poise and reliability between the pipes.
Most recently, Borsos played in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) with the Notre Dame Hounds. His performance earned him a commitment to the University of Regina Cougars (U Sports) for the 2024-25 campaign, marking the next chapter in his career. With a strong work ethic, technical stability, and proven ability to handle pressure, Spencer Borsos continues to establish himself as a dependable and composed goaltender with a promising future at the university level and beyond.

Jackson Berry is a talented goaltender from Chestermere, Alberta, who has competed at the highest levels of junior hockey in Western Canada. Standing 6'1? and catching left, Jackson has played in the Western Hockey League (WHL) with the Moose Jaw Warriors, Seattle Thunderbirds, and Prince Albert Raiders. Known for his athleticism, quick reflexes, and calm presence in the crease, he’s earned a reputation as a technically sound and mentally tough netminder who thrives under pressure.
Now bringing his elite-level experience to the next generation, Jackson is excited to share his knowledge as an instructor with our Goal tendersl. His passion for goaltending, focus on strong fundamentals, and ability to connect with young players make him an outstanding mentor both on and off the ice. Whether it’s helping goalies refine their positioning or build confidence in game situations, Jackson’s professional insight and enthusiasm will make a lasting impact on every athlete he works with.
