Officials Clinics New and Returning

All NEW officials MUST complete the CLICK HERE FOR THE ONLINE PRE REQUISITE online module.

Once Hockey University is complete FOR NEW OFFICIALS (including the post-module survey), any official that will be 18 years or older as of December 31 of the current calendar year MUST complete a criminal record check as well.

NEW OFFICIALS CLINIC AND RECERT

OCTOBER 26th **NEW** 2PM-7:15PM **RETURNING 2PM-6PM** at the CGC

New Officials Clinic and RECERT Combo is also set for October 26th  2PM-6PM with an on ice portion *new officials* taking place the same day at CGC  6PM-7:15PM (PIZZA SNACK BEING PROVIDED FOR APROX 5PM, PACK A SNACK IF PIZZA IS NOT YOUR THING)

You will not be able to register for the in person new officials course until finishing the Online portion at the link above. (so please do this ASAP).

About Officiating Levels

Level 1 12-15 years

Level 2 16 years +

Level 3 17 years + upon approval of upgrade via the BC Hockey regional officiating Delivery Group member

• For level 3 upgrades, these are available in season. Therefore, if an official does not already have a Level 3 qualification, then we have them register as level 2. Should the recommendation to upgrade occur in season, that approval is sent by the regional delivery group member to our office and we add the upgrade to level 3 to their profile. Therefore, in future seasons they will be able to register as a level 3.
