U13 Mustangs A

Jeff Frizzell: Coach Jeff 's philosophy for U13 hockey is dedicated to building strong individual skills while instilling the vital importance of teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship. Recognizing that U13 players are in a period of rapid development, Coach Frizzell is committed to providing a solid foundation in fundamental skills such as skating, puck handling, shooting, and positional awareness.

His focus is on fostering the growth of each player's confidence, skill, and game understanding through consistent, age-appropriate instruction and encouragement. Coach Frizzell firmly believes that teaching players how to communicate effectively, support one another, and work collaboratively towards common goals is essential for building a positive team culture and nurturing a genuine love for the game. Above all, ensuring that everyone is having fun during all on-ice and off-ice activities is a cornerstone of his coaching approach. Coach Jeff is currently enrolled in High Performance 1 training with Hockey Canada. 

 

U15 Mustangs A

Patrick Isabelle: Coach Patrick is dedicated to cultivating a positive and enjoyable experience for all players, while simultaneously building a strong hockey culture and promoting excellence within the U15 Mustangs. His coaching philosophy centers on providing a safe, accessible environment and programs designed for both learning and competition.

Coach Isabelle emphasizes the true meaning of team play. He teaches players the essential skills for various hockey systems, preparing them for local games and tournaments. His players will learn the responsibilities of every position within each system, ensuring they can adapt to any game situation.

The U15 Mustangs, under Coach Isabelle's guidance, will uphold core values of respect, discipline, accountability, learning, and fun. A cornerstone of his coaching is fair and equal playing time. Coach Isabelle believes that every player, regardless of skill level, deserves the opportunity to contribute and develop their abilities. Coach Patrick is currently enrolled in High Performance 1 training with Hockey Canada.

 

U18 Mustangs A

Michael Tuton: Coach Michael returns to the U18 Mustangs with a wealth of experience and a philosophy deeply rooted in player development and fostering a winning culture.

One of Coach Tuton's significant strengths lies in his ability to connect with players where they are at and understanding their individual needs and aspirations. He is renowned for his dedication to working tirelessly to bring out the best in each athlete, both on and off the ice.

Coach Tuton understands the unique demands of U18 hockey, where players are not only striving for on-ice success but also navigating critical developmental stages in their lives. His coaching will focus on building strong leadership qualities, promoting accountability, and instilling a disciplined approach to both practices and games. He prioritizes creating a challenging yet supportive environment where players can push their limits, learn from their experiences, and grow as both hockey players and young adults. Coach Michael holds a High Performance 1 certification
